Our Story
Michelle Elam, Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, is revolutionizing skincare with her innovative approach to skin health. As the bright mind behind Saving Face Co., Michelle’s personal struggle and witnessing of the damaging effects of stress and excessive product use inspired her to find impactful solutions. Perioral dermatitis, milia, whiteheads, and rosacea-like symptoms, only made Michelle more motivated to find relief for herself and others.
She sought answers from dermatologists, only to be met with temporary solutions like antibiotics. Determined to uncover a better, more sustainable way, she delved deep into research and discovered the anti-inflammatory benefits of sulfur. Impressed by the remarkable results of using a sulfur spot cream, her curiosity was ignited. Michelle began her search for a non-scented, sulfur-based cleanser that would not only fight breakouts and flare-ups but also promote long-term skin health. When she couldn’t find such a product in the market, she took matters into her own hands and founded Saving Face Co.
